Presentation Instructions

All Speakers

Best aspect is 16:9 for presentation on the State Library Theatre’s screen.

Speaker Instructions

Each conference speaker is allocated a 20 minute slot, so talks should be approximately 15 minutes long to allow for questions. Speakers will be gently asked to wrap up if still presenting at the 17 minute mark. Please familiarize yourself with the chair of your session who will facilitate loading your talk. This should take place, at the latest, 10 minutes before the start of your session (in the morning (pre-conference), tea breaks or lunch prior to your session).

Please label your talk with your last name and date of your talk and AM/PM e.g. Kirkendale25_11_2024PM. This will help us to organize them in the order of presentation.

    Keynote Instructions

Each plenary or keynote speaker is allocated a 45 minute slot, so talks should be approximately 40 minutes long to allow for questions. Speakers will be asked to wrap up if still presenting at the 43 minute mark.  We can load your talks the morning of your presentation or earlier (except for our first Keynote) if you would like.

      Chair Instructions

Please familiarize yourself by connecting with the delegates presenting in your session and facilitate loading of their talks. This should take place in the morning (pre-conference), tea breaks or lunch prior to your session. They might need some assistance.

        Poster Instructions

Posters should be of size A0 or smaller, in portrait orientation. Please ensure font size and images are large enough and of good resolution, to be seen from a distance of at least two meters.
